DateDetect — Affiliate Terms
Version 1.2 · Effective: 17 September 2026
1. Commission
These terms are between you and Dani DI LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16989183), 16 Manford Cross, London, United Kingdom, which operates DateDetect. They apply from the moment you accept them and for as long as you hold an affiliate account.
Your commission rate is shown on your affiliate dashboard and is set when your application is approved. Commission is earned on each credit pack bought by a user attributed to you, and is calculated on the amount the customer actually paid, excluding VAT and after any discount.
Commission is earned per purchase. There is no commission on anything other than a completed credit-pack purchase, and none on purchases made after an attributed user's account has been closed.
Attribution is decided when a user creates their account, and it goes to the most recent referral link they followed before doing so. If a user follows more than one affiliate’s link before signing up, the last link followed is the one credited. Once the account exists the attribution is permanent: no later link can replace it, and a user can only ever be attributed to one affiliate.
2. Hold period, and commission on refunded payments
Every commission is held for 30 days from the date of the payment. During that time it is shown as on hold. After it, it becomes available and is included in the next payout.
If the payment a commission was earned on is refunded in full, or the customer disputes it with their bank, the commission is reversed. A commission reversed because of a dispute is not reinstated if the dispute is later decided in our favour.
If the commission has already been paid or is being paid when this happens, the same amount is deducted from your next payout and shown as a reversal on your payout statement. If reversals exceed what you earn, the difference is recovered from future commission. On termination, we may ask you to repay any balance that cannot be recovered this way.
3. Payouts, tax and invoicing
Payouts are made once a month in US dollars, by PayPal, Wise or bank transfer, to the payout method you set on your affiliate dashboard. You do not need to request a payout. The minimum payout is $25, or $100 for bank transfers. Balances below the minimum carry over to the next month.
You are responsible for your own tax. You must declare and pay any income tax, VAT or equivalent that applies to your commission in your own country. Where your jurisdiction requires it, you must invoice us for your commission, or accept a self-billing arrangement if we offer one. We do not withhold tax on your behalf and we do not give tax advice.
We pay our own sending fees. Fees charged by your bank, an intermediary bank or PayPal or Wise to receive the money, and any currency conversion, are yours. Each payout comes with a statement on your dashboard.
Your payout method must be in your own name or your business's name. When you change it, payouts are paused for 7 days as a security measure, and we may ask you to sign in again before the change is accepted.
We may delay or refuse a payout where we are required to by law, including sanctions and anti-money-laundering law, where we reasonably suspect fraud or a breach of these terms, or where a payment is returned as undeliverable. The programme is not available in countries where we are unable to make payments.
4. Prohibited claims
DateDetect analyses material a user provides and reports patterns associated with romance and investment fraud. It is an evidence-based risk assessment of that material. It is not a verdict about any person, and it does not establish anything about anyone.
You must not claim or imply, in any medium, that DateDetect:
- is certain, definitive, or able to tell anyone what is really going on;
- will catch a scammer, expose a fraudster, or identify a criminal;
- promises, assures or warrants any particular outcome, including recovering money or preventing a loss;
- confirms, checks or establishes a person's identity, or runs any form of identity or background check;
- establishes that a person is honest, trustworthy, real, or who they say they are;
- can clear someone — an assessment that finds no known patterns means only that none appeared in the material provided.
Describe the product accurately or not at all. If you are unsure whether a specific line is acceptable, ask us before you publish it.
5. Prohibited channels
You must not promote DateDetect through any of the following:
- paid search advertising on DateDetect brand terms, including our name, common misspellings of it, and our domain;
- unsolicited contact of any kind with a person you believe is being defrauded, or has been;
- posting in victim-support groups, forums or communities without the express permission of that community's moderators;
- cold email or SMS, whether to lists you hold, lists you buy, or contacts you scrape.
These restrictions exist because the audience for this product is frequently in the middle of an active fraud, and an unsolicited approach at that moment is indistinguishable from the fraud itself.
6. Who may not be an affiliate
If you offer, advertise or broker funds-recovery, private-investigation or debt-recovery services to people who have been defrauded, you may not be a DateDetect affiliate. This is an outright bar, not a conditional one, and it applies whether those services are your main business or a sideline. Applications from such businesses will be rejected, and an existing account will be terminated on discovery.
7. Disclosure
Any review, testimonial, endorsement, ranking or recommendation you publish must clearly and prominently disclose that you are paid commission by DateDetect. The disclosure must be visible before a reader acts on the recommendation, not buried in a footer or behind a link. Undisclosed incentivised reviews are prohibited. Publishing one is grounds for immediate termination, and all unpaid commission on your account is void.
8. No self-referral
You may not earn commission on your own purchases, on purchases by an account you control, or on purchases you arrange on someone else's behalf in order to generate commission. Self-referral is blocked in our code. Any attempt to work around that block — including using a second account, a family member's account, or a cash-back arrangement with a purchaser — voids your affiliate account and all unpaid commission on it.
9. Termination
Either of us may end this arrangement at any time, for any reason, with notice by email. On termination your referral link stops attributing new sign-ups. Commission already approved at that point remains payable subject to the minimum payout.
If you breach any of clauses 4 to 8, all unpaid commission on your account is void, including commission that has already been approved but not yet paid.
We may change these terms. Material changes will be sent to the email address on your account, and the version in force is recorded against your account when you accept it.
Version 1.2 moved payouts to US dollars, added PayPal, Wise and bank transfer as payout methods, made payouts monthly without a request, described how reversals are deducted, and updated the commission basis to credit-pack purchases. No affiliate had accepted an earlier version at the time of the change, so no re-acceptance was required.
